Whether you are writing a memoir, a dark fictional story, or even a reflective poem, the addition of humor can help keep readers engaged! Focusing on the various types of humor writing (situational comedy, parody, rom com, black comedy and even jokes), we’ll explore how best to integrate humor into our stories! Incorporating fun writing exercises and a mindfulness-based approach, this class is for anyone who enjoys writing in any form (fiction, nonfiction, poems, journaling, letters, etc.). No previous writing experience needed! Offering a safe, supportive online group environment, the class welcomes veterans, current active duty and reserve members of the armed forces as well as veteran caregivers and immediate adult military family members.
Please Note: All classes and workshops are for Military Connected Individuals who are 18 years or older.
