The Joel Fund: Operation ART

Virtual Painting 2 will be a continuation of the fundamentals of drawing and acrylic painting from Spring I’s Virtual Painting class. It will also be an introductory course for those new to painting.  During our time together, we will familiarize ourselves with the materials, terms and concepts related to painting as our primary medium.  There will be demonstrations and lectures on drawing and painting techniques, and practical exercises to help us become familiar and confident with all our materials and tools.  We will have painting projects from still lifes to a final research project. These projects encourage each student to use their own critical and creative talents to develop paintings that unify the skills and techniques learned in class. 

Specific Dates: Tues: 3/11, 3/18, 3/25, 4/1, 4/8, 4/15 MAKE UP: 4/22

Time: Tuesdays, 2:00-4:00 pm

A make up date will be used if a class is canceled due to the instructor's illness, inclement weather, or an emergency.
