If you have a collection of t-shirts sitting around waiting for a special project, this is the class for you! Together, this class will gently cut and piece together blocks made from your t-shirts, transforming them from a drawer-stuffer to a cherished memento. Students should bring their own collection of approximately 12 t-shirts (or 24 if you want to make a 2-sided quilt), which will be reinforced using interfacing, then arranged into blocks, and finally sewn together. This class will be focused on learning the craft of piecing together the quilt, so the overall size of the finished piece will be a wall-hanging size.
This class is designed for Women Only.
Please Note: All classes and workshops are for Military Connected Individuals who are 18 years or older.
